Parents and Players, you are invited to an amazing event to help our McKinney Lacrosse program and we would love for you to join us in the effort!

On February 8th, 2024, we will kick off our annual fundraising drive for McKinney Lacrosse driven by our LaxBacker Organization.  We are asking that your athlete plan to be at First McKinney Church at 6:00 (pending)  for the kickoff. This is a VERY exciting event, and we are looking forward to seeing you there!!

6:00        High School Blitz night. (7/8-HS)

What is this?  

LaxBacker and McKinney Lacrosse Club partner with Up Tempo, which is a fundraising company that helps to set up a website and drive financial donations to our Youth and HS lacrosse teams.   On Thursday, February 8th, we are inviting you to attend the RALLY to set up a dedicated website for your athlete that will showcase your athlete, the team and total amount of funds the organization raises.   When you arrive, we are asking you to Scan the QR code that will link you to the website and Up-Tempo will walk you through the rest.  Please plan on bringing a list of contacts that you think would support your athlete in this campaign.  Please see the attachments that will tell you more about the prize packages. 

What are the Donations used for?

100% of your tax-deductible donations enrich our athletes' experience and maximize the potential of our team. They will go towards practice equipment, team meals, Club parent activities, Youth organization mixer events, High School game day uniforms, and end of year banquet, and club marketing, like our– “Home of McKinney Lacrosse” sign at Bonnie Wenk, as well as support all other McKinney Lacrosse Club needs. 

Who is the McKinney Lacrosse Club:

The McKinney Lacrosse Club is a non-profit organization formed to develop the lacrosse skills and talent of the young athletes who participate on Club teams.  We strive to educate them about the sport, competing and developing their love of the game of lacrosse. We seek to provide a positive and enriching lacrosse experience for all athletes at all age groups with an appropriate opportunity for growth and competition.  Since our inception in 2006, McKinney Lacrosse Club has produced over 40 NCAA Athletes, as well as the following accolades: 2021 Women’s District and State Champions, 2016 Men’s State Runner Up, 2015 Women’s State Champions, and 2015 Men’s State Semi Finalists. We are proud of our athletes and the hard work and dedication they devote to developing individually, as well as teammates.
